I can’t get over this vintage-inspired line called The Loved One. Their store is based in Pasadena, but you can also shop all of their sweet, lacy bits online. Or, if you’re not into the threads, you can still appreciate this cute little video they shot to show off their current whimsical collection.

Creating an accompanying highlight reel or commercial video to showcase your previously 2-D blog is an intriguing concept. Fashion trendsetter and blogger Shea Marie has conceptualized a way to incorporate video in her wardrobe with the help of her friend and fellow artist, Markus Madlangbayan. She has categorized this first video showcasing her daily looks as a “trailer” for her daily look book blog. Shea invites her millions of followers to virtually walk in her (designer) shoes down the fashion-forward avenues of Los Angeles, and highlights her love for personally interacting with each one of her readers via the commenting interface incorporated in her blog.

Banana Republic has collaborated again with Janie Bryant, costume designer of AMC’s Mad Men. The Spring 2012 line of 1960’s country club inspired designs will hit shelves this afternoon in stores nationwide. Banana Republic stores will close for an hour to roll out the 40-piece collection and reopen for BR Card Members only to enjoy a VIP shopping event. Since we can’t all get the invitation aboard Virgin Airlines to see the 35,000 foot runway show today (no, really), the public will be allowed to shop in stores again at 6pm. The official public and online launch will be debuted March 1st.
The line is modeled by the delicious David Gandy and classic beauty Shalom Harlow (pictured above) and photographed by Tom Munro. AMC’s Mad Men resumes Season 5 on March 25th.
