Now Finished Reading: Sara Gruen’s Water For Elephants

• Another book to film title 

This was by far, the best book I have read in a very, very long time. I wasn’t expecting much, but was pleasantly surprised by the gorgeous detail, heartbreaking story and quickly progressing plot, and relatable yet flawed characters created by Sara Gruen. After the fourth page, I was absolutely hooked and never set the book down. This book was a perfect example of why I’m currently reading books that will become movies. Descriptive authors like Gruen make it easy for the reader to “watch” the movie before it has even been filmed.

Another great thing about this book is that this little gem was accessible to me through the library after a quick branch transfer, and I wasn’t placed at number 194 on a waiting list for a copy—like I was for The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo!
