I may have mentioned this talented crew of friends in Columbia, SC who call themselves The Half And Half. I simply can’t say enough about them. The Half And Half began as a modest screenprinting duo in a sleepy college town of the Southeast. Today, they have put themselves on the map with clients from M83 to Dave Matthews Band to the leader of the free world. Simply put, they are a wicked awesome award-winning design house with which to be reckoned.

More recently, horror illustrator Danny Miller teamed up with The Half And Half to provide a poster series for AMC’s The Walking Dead. As can only be expected, the wonderful video director and producer Josh Rainwater showed up to document the Halves in their natural habitat. (Seriously y’all, Rainwater is fricken great, too. Check out his site.)

My dash is blowing up with photos from tonight. We’re all in this (David Bazan at New Brookland) together! Thanks for the heads up, Rachael and Brooks!

Toro Y Moi, Go With You

Not the best audio of the performance (from Heineken Music Day?), but some really nice shots of the boys in action and good interview stuff with Chaz. (via fuckit.party.)

Local cyclist, Robert Kendrick, modeling the Outspokin’ jersey and kit I designed a couple of years ago. I have to admit, nothing is more bizarre than seeing your artwork fly down the road in front of you, or on some random website, on a complete stranger, who actually paid money for it. Weird. But, amazing.
Photo cred: Eddie J. Helton… whoever that is.
